Russel Bierke is regarded as one of the best big wave surfers in the world. His dad Kirk is a legend big wave surfer and shaper who helped shape Russ’s love for riding mountains and surfing the impossible.

As part of the new generation of big waves surfers pushing the limits, Russ grew up on the big slabby waves of the NSW South Coast, Australia, giving him the perfect training ground to push his limits in waves of consequence.

Still at a very young age, Russ’s future in big wave surfing is super bright and he will be part of the new generation pushing the limits on what is surfable.
